Tim Katanski
Tim joined the AAGOC golf staff in 2004. In the winter of 2009 he turned professional and in 2018 completed requirements to be inducted as a member of the Professional Golfer's Association (PGA). After departing from AAGOC in 2016, he served as Head Golf Professional at public golf courses in the area. Tim returned to to AAGOC for the 2022 season as the Assistant Golf Professional and in 2026 was named Head Golf Professional
He began his playing career as a senior in high school, earning recognition for the “Most Improved Player.” His passion for the game grew from that one season. Fast forward 30+ years and his passion is stronger than ever.
While Tim loves to compete at a high level, his greatest reward comes from sharing knowledge and providing instruction to students of the game. He receives his greatest satisfaction from seeing others improve their ability to play.
“As an instructor my goal is to find the simplest and most efficient way to strike a golf ball,” said Tim. “All golf swings are unique just like each golfer is unique. My goal is to put each of my students in the proper position to feel their swing.”
Tim is a SEE More SPI Bronze Putter Fitter and Putting Instructor and Certified Elite Eyeline Golf Instructor.
